Wood Stone: Yanes Wuhl

I have always loved the look of a wood burning stove and how it warms up a room.   This Wood Stove by Yanes Wuhl for his graduation project.  The design allows the smoke to excite out the back so the top can be flat.

From website: I created my wood stove, interpreting it as a sculpture, a monument, because generally it’s an imposing object that once placed will not be remove anymore. It has a concrete base which is use to store the logs and a cast iron upper part where the wood is burnt. When the door is closed, it can be a auxiliary heater for a 120 cubic meter’s room and when open, it creates a cozy fireplace atmosphere.  website
